";am sitting with."; In a case heard before the Emperor Claudius, Chrest. I. 14ii. 5, certain senators sit along with the Emperor apparently as assessorsσυνκα [θημένων αὐτῷ ] συνκλητικ [ ]ν, and 13 συνεπένευ [σαν δὲ καὶ οἱ συν ]καθήμενοι [π ]άντες σ [υνκλητικοὶ εὖ ?] εἰδότε κτλ. : cf. Acts 26:30. See also the record of lamp-oil in P Cornell 1.98 (B.C. 256) τοῖς παρὰ Διοσκουρίδου γραμματεῦσιν καὶ σ [υ ]γκαθημένοις τὴν νύκτα ἐπὶ λύχνον κο (τύλαι) β ̄.
