חֶלְקָה f. i.q. חֵלֶק
(1) smoothness, Genesis 27:16 pl. smooth or slippery ways, Psalms 73:18. Metaph. flattery, Proverbs 6:24. שְׂפַת חֲלָקוֹת flattering lips, Psalms 12:3, Psalms 12:4 pl. חֲלָקוֹת id. Isaiah 30:10.
(2) a portion, a part, with the addition of שָׂדֶה a portion of a field, Genesis 33:19; Ruth 2:3 without שָׂדֶה id. 2 Samuel 14:30, 31 2 Samuel 14:31, 23:12.
