שַׁלְוָה f. id. Proverbs 17:1; Psalms 122:7; Ezekiel 16:49. Pl. בְּשַׁלְוֹתַיִךְ whilst thou wast living securely, Jerem. 22:21. בְּשַׁלְוָה in (the midst of) security, Daniel 8:25, 11:21 (compare Job 15:21), i.e. unexpectedly, suddenly, like the Chald. and Syriac בְּשִׁלְיָה, מִן שִׁלְיָה ܡܢܫܠܝ. Compare Daniel 11:24.
