(b) שְׁפַל רוּחַ cast down, humble of spirit, Proverbs 29:23; Isaiah 57:15 and without רוּחַ id.; Isa. loc. cit. הַשָּׁפָ֫לָה that which is low, Ezekiel 21:31 (masc. with ה parag.).
