Then I said to them, "You see the calamity we are in, that Jerusalem lies waste and its gates burned by fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem so that we will no longer be a reproach."

Our adversaries said, "They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them, and put a stop to the work."

The eye of the adulterer keeps watch for the twilight,Saying, ‘No eye will see me.'And he keeps his face hidden.
