Looking at them, Jesus *said, "With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God."

And Jesus answered and *said to them, "Have faith in God.

And they *came and *said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are truthful and defer to no one; for You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay a tax to Caesar, or not?

And Jesus said to them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they were amazed at Him.

Jesus said to them, "Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand the Scriptures nor the power of God?

But regarding the fact that the dead are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken."

Jesus answered, "The foremost is, ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord;

and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.'

And when Jesus saw that he had answered thoughtfully, He said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." After that, no one would dare to ask Him any more questions.

For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will.

Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."

And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

Joseph of Arimathea came, a prominent Council member, who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God; and he gathered up courage and went in before Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.

So then, the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

And they were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and righteous requirements of the Lord.

Now it happened that while he was performing his priestly service before God in the order of his division,

And he will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God.

And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands before God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee called Nazareth,
