For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.

Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music.

They care nothing for what the Lord has done or for what his hands have made. So he will tear them down, and they will never be rebuilt!

The Lord gives his people strength. He is a safe fortress for his anointed king.

A psalm of David. Honor the Lord , you heavenly beings; honor the Lord for his glory and strength.

Honor the Lord for the glory of his name. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, "Glory!"

The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.

Sing to the Lord , all you godly ones! Praise his holy name.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Praise the Lord , for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack.

For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command.

But the Lord 's plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken.

What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord , whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.

From his throne he observes all who live on the earth.

But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.

A psalm of David, regarding the time he pretended to be insane in front of Abimelech, who sent him away. I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.

Come, let us tell of the Lord 's greatness; let us exalt his name together.

Fear the Lord , you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need.
