So the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death as well,

So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord— the King of Israel!"

So the crowd that had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify.

Jesus said to them, "The light is with you for a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. If you walk in the darkness, you do not know where you are going.

While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light." After Jesus had said this, he departed and hid from them.

Although he had performed so many signs in their presence, they did not believe in him.

And so they could not believe, because Isaiah also said,

"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they might not look with their eyes, and understand with their heart and turn— and I would heal them."

I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.

So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

I tell you this now, before it occurs, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am he.

So while reclining next to Jesus, he asked him, "Lord, who is it?"

Jesus answered, "It is the one to whom I give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish." So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas son of Simon Iscariot.

So, after receiving the piece of bread, he immediately went out. And it was night.

Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me; and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.'

In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.

I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

And now I have told you this before it occurs, so that when it does occur, you may believe.

but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us be on our way.
