You are sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God appointed to our fathers, saying to Abraham, "Even in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Gen. 22:18

Having raised up His child Jesus, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each one from your iniquities.

let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in this name this one stands before you whole.

But answering them Peter and John said, Whether it is right before God to listen to you rather than God, you judge.

But having threatened them again, they released them, finding nothing as to how they might punish them, on account of the people, because all glorified God on the thing happening.

And hearing they with one passion lifted voice to God and said, Master, You are "the God who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all things in them," Ex. 20:11

And they having prayed, the place in which they were gathered was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God with boldness.

Remaining, did it not remain yours? And being sold, was it not in your authority? Why is it that this action was put into your heart? You did not lie to men, but to God!

But answering Peter and the apostles said, It is right to obey God rather than man.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you seized, hanging Him on a tree.

This One God has exalted as a Ruler and Savior to His right hand , to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins.

And we are His witnesses of these things, and also the Holy Spirit, whom God gave to those obeying Him.

But if it is from God, you will not be able to destroy it, lest even you will be found fighters against God.

And having called near the multitude of the disciples, the Twelve said, It is not pleasing to us, having left the Word of God, to serve tables!

And the Word of God was increasing, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem was multiplying exceedingly. Even a great crowd of the priests were attending to the faith!

Then they induced some men to be saying, We have heard him speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God!

And he said, Men, brothers, and fathers, listen! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham, being in Mesopotamia before he lived in Haran,

Then going out from the land of the Chaldeans, he lived in Haran. And after his father died, God moved him from there into this land in which you now live.

And God spoke thus, that his seed would be an alien in another land, and they would enslave it and oppress it four hundred years. See Gen. 15:13

And God said, I will judge the nation to which you will be in bondage." And, After these things they will come out and will serve Me in this place. Gen. 15:14; Ex. 3:12
