Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled [fn] and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Then those who were in the boat came and [fn] worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?

For God commanded, saying, 'Honor your father and your mother'; Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16 ">[fn] and, 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.' Exodus 21:17">[fn]

But you say, "Whoever says to his father or mother, "Whatever profit you might have received from me is a gift to God"--

then he need not honor his father or mother.' [fn] Thus you have made the commandment [fn] of God of no effect by your tradition.

So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate."

So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? [fn] No one is good but One, that is, God. [fn] But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
