And when her neighbors and relatives heard that God had increased his mercy to her, they rejoiced with her.

And immediately his mouth and his tongue were opened, and he spoke and blessed God.

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace and good hope for men.

During the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John, son of Zacharias, in the wilderness.

As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, who said, The voice which calls in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make the paths of our God straight in the plain.

And let every flesh see the salvation of God.

Therefore bring forth fruits which are worthy of repentance; and do not begin to say within yourselves, We have Abraham as our father; for I say to you that God can raise up children for Abraham from these stones.
