But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.

For if a woman is not veiled, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn, or to be shaved, let her be veiled.

For truly a man ought not to have the head covered, being the image and glory of God. But woman is the glory of man;

for man is not of the woman, but woman of man;

for also man was not created for the sake of the woman, but woman for the sake of the man;

For as the woman is out of the man, so also the man through the woman; but all things are from God.

But if a woman wears her hair long, it is a glory to her; because the hair has been given to her instead of a veil.

But if anyone thinks to be contentious, we do not have such a custom, nor the assemblies of God.

But enjoining this, I do not praise you , because you come together not for the better, but for the worse.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and let him drink of the cup;

But being judged, we are corrected by the Lord, that we not be condemned with the world.

But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, that you may not come together for judgment. And the other things I will set in order whenever I come.

But concerning the spiritual matters, brothers, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

And there are differences of gifts, but the same Spirit;

And there are differences of workings, but the same God is working all things in all.

But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each as He wills.

Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.

For also the body is not one member, but many.

But now God set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He desired.

But if all was one member, where would the body be ?
