Nor will people say, 'Look, here it is,' or 'There it is.' For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst."

"In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected men.

For a while he refused, but later he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God or respect men,

Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He continue to defer their help?

The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, 'God, I thank You that I am not like the other men-swindlers, evildoers, adulterers-or even like this tax collector.

But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner!'

But Jesus called the children to Him and said, "Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

"Why do you call Me good?" Jesus replied. "No one is good except God alone.

Seeing the man's sorrow, Jesus said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God.

Indeed, it is easier for a camel to pass through an eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

But Jesus said, "What is impossible with man is possible with God."

"Truly I tell you," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God

Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, glorifying God. And all the people who saw this gave praise to God.

While the people were listening to this, Jesus proceeded to tell them a parable, because He was near Jerusalem and they thought the kingdom of God would appear imminently.

And as He approached the descent from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of disciples began to praise God joyfully in a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:

They will level you to the ground-you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God."

"Teacher," they inquired, "we know that You speak and teach correctly. You show no partiality, but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.

So Jesus told them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."

In fact, they can no longer die, because they are like the angels. And since they are sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God.
