But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean.

But arise, and go down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

But Peter raised him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

but in every nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is acceptable to him.

not to all the people, but to witnesses that were chosen before of God, [even] to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

But Peter began, and expounded [the matter] to them in order, saying,

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.

But a voice answered the second time out of heaven, What God has cleansed, don't make common.

And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John indeed baptized in water; but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Grecian Jews also, preaching the Lord Jesus.

Peter therefore was kept in the prison: but prayer was made earnestly of the church to God for him.

And he went out, and followed; and he didn't know that it was true which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision.

And when she knew Peter's voice, she didn't open the gate for joy, but ran in, and told that Peter stood before the gate.

And they said to her, You are insane. But she confidently affirmed that it was even so. And they said, It is his angel.

But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened, they saw him, and were amazed.

But he, beckoning to them with the hand to hold their peace, declared to them how the Lord had brought him forth out of the prison. And he said, Tell these things to James, and to the brothers. And he departed, and went to another place.

But the word of God grew and multiplied.

But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn aside the proconsul from the faith.

But Saul, who is also [called] Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fastened his eyes on him,

But they, passing through from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia; and they went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.
