So Moses set out with Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up the mountain of God.

I will reside among the Israelites, and I will be their God,

and they will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out from the land of Egypt, so that I may reside among them. I am the Lord their God.

and I have filled him with the Spirit of God in skill, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God.

But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God and said, "O Lord , why does your anger burn against your people, whom you have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

and he said to them, "Thus says the Lord , the God of Israel, ‘Each man fasten his sword on his side, and go back and forth from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and each one kill his brother, his friend, and his neighbor.'"

The Lord passed by before him and proclaimed: "The Lord , the Lord , the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,

For you must not worship any other god, for the Lord , whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

At three times in the year all your men must appear before the Lord God , the God of Israel.

For I will drive out the nations before you and enlarge your borders; no one will covet your land when you go up to appear before the Lord your God three times in the year.

"The first of the firstfruits of your soil you must bring to the house of the Lord your God. You must not cook a young goat in its mother's milk."

He has filled him with the Spirit of God—with skill, with understanding, with knowledge, and in all kinds of work,

Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering—on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.

"‘Whenever a leader, by straying unintentionally, sins and violates one of the commandments of the Lord his God which must not be violated, and he pleads guilty,

for I am the Lord your God and you are to sanctify yourselves and be holy because I am holy. You must not defile yourselves by any of the swarming things that creep on the ground,

for I am the Lord who brought you up from the land of Egypt to be your God, and you are to be holy because I am holy.

"Speak to the Israelites and tell them, ‘I am the Lord your God!

You must observe my regulations and you must be sure to walk in my statutes. I am the Lord your God.
