And you then being alienated and hostile in your mind by evil works, but now He reconciled

the mystery having been hidden from the ages and from the generations, but now was revealed to His saints;

which are a shadow of coming things, but the body is of Christ.

Which things indeed appear to be a matter of having wisdom in self-imposed worship and humility, and severity in abuse of the body, but are not of any value with regards to gratification of the flesh.

But now, you also, put off all these things: wrath, anger, malice, evil-speaking, shameful speech out of your mouth.

where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Christ is all things and in all.

Slaves, obey the lords according to flesh in all respects, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.

But the one doing wrong will receive what he did wrong, and there is no partiality.

For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, even as you know what kind we were among you for your sake.

So yearning over you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own souls, because you have become beloved to us.

And because of this we give thanks to God without ceasing, that having received the Word of hearing from us, you welcomed it as of God, not as a word of men, but as it is, truly the Word of God, which alsoworks in you, the ones believing.

hindering us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to the filling up of their sins always. But the wrath to the end is come on them.

But, brothers, we being taken away from you for an hour's time, in presence, not in heart, we were much more eager with much desire to see your face.

But now Timothy coming to us from you, and announcing good news to us of your love and faith, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as also we long to see you.

But may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.
