So that you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

Nevertheless at that time, not knowing God, you served as slaves to those that by nature are no gods:

but now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how do you turn back again to the weak and beggarly rudiments, to which you desire to serve as slaves over again?

and that which was a temptation to you in my flesh you did not despise, nor reject; but you received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.

envyings, drunkenness, revelings, and things similar to these; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Don't be deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap.

And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace [be] on them, and mercy, and on the Israel of God.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints that are in Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ:

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;

but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

for by grace have you been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God;

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance that we should walk in them.

that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

So then you are no more strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,

in whom you also are built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of that grace of God which was given to me toward you;

whereof I was made a servant, according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.
