For Your loving devotion is higher than the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the skies.

Give us aid against the foe, for the help of man is worthless.

For wicked and deceitful mouths open against me; they speak against me with lying tongues.

In return for my love they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.

They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

For he never thought to show kindness, but pursued the poor and needy and brokenhearted, even to their death.

But You, O GOD, the Lord, deal kindly with me for the sake of Your name; deliver me by the goodness of Your loving devotion.

For I am poor and needy; my heart is wounded within me.

For He stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from the condemners of his soul.

A Psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord: "Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet."

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright-for the gracious, compassionate, and righteous.

I love the LORD, for He has heard my voice-my appeal for mercy.

Return to your rest, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.

For You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.

How can I repay the LORD for all His goodness to me?

For great is His loving devotion toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Hallelujah!
