Thou sellest Thy people for small gain, and hast not set their prices high.

For the voice of him that taunteth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and the revengeful.

Would not God search this out? For He knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Nay, but for Thy sake are we killed all the day; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Awake, why sleepest Thou, O Lord? Arouse Thyself, cast not off for ever.

For our soul is bowed down to the dust; our belly cleaveth unto the earth. Arise for our help, and redeem us for Thy mercy's sake.

Thy throne given of God is for ever and ever; a sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

So shall the king desire thy beauty; for he is thy lord; and do homage unto him.

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons, whom thou shalt make princes in all the land. I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise thee for ever and ever.

God in her palaces hath made Himself known for a stronghold.
