For thine enemies haue reproched thee, O Lorde, because they haue reproched the footesteps of thine Anointed.

Praised be the Lord for euermore. So be it, euen so be it.

For a thousande yeeres in thy sight are as yesterday when it is past, & as a watch in the night.

For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

For all our dayes are past in thine anger: we haue spent our yeeres as a thought.

The time of our life is threescore yeeres and ten, and if they be of strength, fourescore yeeres: yet their strength is but labour and sorowe: for it is cut off quickly, and we flee away.

Who knoweth the power of thy wrath? for according to thy feare is thine anger.

For thou hast said, The Lord is mine hope: thou hast set the most High for thy refuge.

For hee shall giue his Angels charge ouer thee to keepe thee in all thy wayes.

For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.

(When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.

But thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.

For loe, thine enemies, O Lorde: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holinesse becommeth thine House, O Lord, for euer.

That thou mayest giue him rest from the dayes of euill, whiles the pitte is digged for the wicked.

For iudgement shal returne to iustice, and all the vpright in heart shall followe after it.

Hath the throne of iniquitie fellowship with thee, which forgeth wrong for a Lawe?

For the Lorde is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.

To whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land.
