How long, LORD, wilt thou be angry? for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

Remember me from the time I was created; for thou hast not created all men in vain.

Remember, LORD, the reproach of thy servants; for I have borne throughout my life the mockery of the Gentiles;

Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen and Amen.

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

For all our days are passed away in thy wrath; we spend our years in emptiness.

The years of our lives are threescore and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet most of them are labor and sorrow; for life is soon cut off and we fly away.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us; for the work of his hands made us, yea, he made us by the work of his hands.

You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day,

Nor for the conspiracy that spreads in darkness; nor for the pestilence that wastes at noonday.

For thou, O LORD, art my trust; thou hast established thy habitation in the highest.

For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

For thou, O LORD, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever;

But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

Thy testimonies are very sure; holiness becomes thy house, O LORD, for ever.

For they have humbled thy people, O LORD, and subdued thine heritage.

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
