LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:

We will go into his tabernacles; we will worship at his footstool.

For the LORD has been delighted with Zion; he has chosen it for his habitation.

There shall I make the horn of David to shine, and light a lamp for his anointed?

His enemies will I clothe with shame; but my holiness shall cover him.

It is like the precious ointment upon the head and upon the beard, even Aarons beard, that went down to the collar of his robe;

Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good; sing praises to his name, for he is delightful.

For the LORD has chosen Jacob to himself, and Israel for his congregation.

He causes the clouds to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain; he brings the wind out of his treasuries.

Who sent forth his signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh and upon all his servants,

And gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel his people.

For the LORD will judge his people, and he will delight in his servants.

O GIVE thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his mercy endures for ever.

O give thanks to the God of gods; for his mercy endures for ever.

O give thanks to the LORD of lords; for his mercy endures for ever.

To him who alone does great wonders; for his mercy endures for ever.

To him who by wisdom made the heavens; for his mercy endures for ever.

To him who stretched out the earth above the waters; for his mercy endures for ever.

To him who made great lights; for his mercy endures for ever;

The sun to rule by day; for his mercy endures for ever;
