For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he has given salvation to the poor.

To execute upon them the judgment that is written; and give glory to all his saints. Praise the LORD.

PRAISE the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise him for his mighty acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness.

We shall find all his wealth and precious things, we shall fill our houses with spoil;

For it is the LORD who gives wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

He keeps the paths of justice, and preserves the ways of his saints.

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD, neither be weary of his corrections.

For whom the LORD loves he corrects, even as a father corrects his son.

The LORD by his wisdom has founded the earth; by his understanding he established the heavens.

By his knowledge the depths are broken up and the clouds drop down the dew.

Do not envy a wicked man, and choose none of his ways.

For they are life to him who finds them, and health to all his flesh.

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and all his paths lie open in his presence.

The wicked shall be caught by his own iniquities, and he will be bound with the cords of his sins.

He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself because, for the sake of your friend, you have fallen into the hands of your enemies; go, therefore, and stir up your friend for whom you have become surety to meet his obligation.

He winks with his eyes, he signals with his feet, he makes signs with his fingers;

He is perverse in his heart, he devises mischief continually; he sows discord.

Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; suddenly will he be broken without remedy.
