Even a heritage to Israel his slave; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever:

Who remembered us in our low estate; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever;

Who gives food to all flesh; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever.

Oh give thanks to the God of heaven; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever.

For there those that led us captive required of us songs, And those that wasted us [required of us] mirth, [saying], Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

I will worship toward your holy temple, And give thanks to your name for your loving-kindness and for your truth: For you have magnified your word above all your name.

All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Yahweh, For they have heard the words of your mouth.

Yes, they shall sing of the ways of Yahweh; For great is the glory of Yahweh.

For though Yahweh is high, yet he has respect to the lowly; But the haughty he knows from afar.

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O Yahweh, you have searched me, and known [me].

For there is not a word in my tongue, But, look, O Yahweh, you know it altogether.

[Such] knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I can't attain to it.

For you formed my inward parts: You covered me in my mother's womb.

Your eyes saw me developing from conception; And in your book they were all written, [Even] the days that were formed [for me], When as yet there was none of them.

For they speak against you wickedly, And your enemies are lifted up in vain.

Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually they gather themselves together for war.

The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set gins for me. Selah.

As for the head of those who speak lies about me, Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
