A Song of Ascents; of David. Yahweh, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in great matters, Or in things too wonderful for me.

O Israel, hope in Yahweh From this time forth and for evermore.

A Song of Ascents. Yahweh, remember for David All his affliction;

Until I find out a place for Yahweh, A tabernacle for the Mighty One of Jacob.

Let your priest be clothed with righteousness; And let your saints shout for joy.

For your slave David's sake Don't turn away the face of your anointed.

If your sons will keep my covenant And my testimony that I shall teach them, Their sons also shall sit on your throne for evermore.

For Yahweh has chosen Zion; He has desired it for his habitation.

This is my resting-place forever: Here I will dwell; for I have desired it.

Her priests also I will clothe with salvation; And her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

There I will make the horn of David to bud: I have appointed a lamp for my anointed.

A Song of Ascents; of David. Look, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to dwell together in unity!

Like the dew of Hermon, That comes down on the mountains of Zion: For there Yahweh commanded the blessing, Even life for evermore.

Praise Yah; for Yahweh is good: Sing praises to his name; for it is pleasant.

For Yah has chosen Jacob to himself, [And] Israel for his own possession.

For I know that Yahweh is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

Who causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings for the rain; Who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries;

And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage to Israel his people.

For Yahweh will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his slaves.

Oh give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good; For his loving-kindness [endures] forever.
