Until an arrow strikes through his liver; As a bird hurries to the snare, And does not know that it is for his life.

He that despises his neighbor is void of wisdom; But a man of understanding holds his peace.

The merciful man does good to his own soul; But he that is cruel troubles his own flesh.

He that is steadfast in righteousness, to life; And he that pursues evil, to his death.

Those that are perverse in heart are disgusting to Yahweh; But such as are perfect in [their] way are his delight.

He that trusts in his riches shall fall; But the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf.
