Nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.

Go out, go out through the gates; prepare the way for the people! Build it up, build up the highway; clear away the stones! Raise a banner for the nations to see.

Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the ends of the earth, "Say to Daughter Zion: See, your Savior comes! Look, His reward is with Him, and His recompense goes before Him."

Look down from heaven and see, from Your holy and glorious habitation. Where are Your zeal and might? Your yearning and compassion for me are restrained.

You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD: "Your brothers who hate and exclude you because of My name have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified that we may see your joy!' But they will be put to shame."

When you see, you will rejoice, and you will flourish like grass; then the hand of the LORD will be revealed to His servants, but His wrath will be shown to His enemies.

"For I know their works and thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory.

"As they go forth, they will see the corpses of the men who have rebelled against Me; for their worm will never die, their fire will never be quenched, and they will be a horror to all mankind."

See, I have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and plant."

And the word of the LORD came to me, asking, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" "I see a branch of an almond tree," I replied.

Again the word of the LORD came to me, inquiring, "What do you see?" "I see a boiling pot," I replied, "and it is tilting away from the north."

Cross over to Cyprus and take a look; send to Kedar and consider carefully; see if there has ever been anything like this:

"Lift up your eyes to the barren heights and see. Is there any place where you have not been violated? You sat waiting for your lovers beside the highways, like a nomad in the desert. You have defiled the land with your prostitution and wickedness.

How long must I see the signal flag and hear the sound of the trumpet?

They have lied about the LORD and said, "He will not do anything; harm will not come to us; we will not see sword or famine.

Hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear.

To whom can I give this warning? Who will listen to me? Look, their ears are closed, so they cannot hear. See, the word of the LORD has become offensive to them; they find no pleasure in it.

But go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for My name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.

Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

But, O LORD of Hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and mind, let me see Your vengeance upon them, for I have committed my cause to You.
