Now the valley of Siddim was full of slime pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and they fell there, and those that remained fled to the mountain.

And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went their way.

And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his goods, and departed.

And he said to Abram, Know for certain that your seed shall be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

and also that nation, whom they shall serve, I will judge: and afterward they shall come out with great substance.

And in the fourth generation they shall come here again; for the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full.

and I will fetch a morsel of bread, and strengthen your heart; after that you shall pass on: since you have come to your slave. And they said, Do so, as you have said.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they ate.
