But if you have gone astray while under your husband's authority and defiled yourself with a man other than your husband who has slept with you'-

But if the woman has not defiled herself and is clean, she will be unaffected and able to conceive children.

The husband will be free from guilt, but the woman shall bear her iniquity."

He must rededicate his time of separation to the LORD and bring a year-old male lamb as a guilt offering. But the preceding days shall not be counted, because his separation was defiled.

But he did not give any to the Kohathites, since they were to carry on their shoulders the holy objects for which they were responsible.

But at the age of fifty, they must retire from performing the work and no longer serve.

After that, they may assist their brothers in fulfilling their duties at the Tent of Meeting, but they themselves are not to do the work. This is how you are to assign responsibilities to the Levites."

But there were some men who were unclean due to a dead body, so they could not observe the Passover on that day. And they came before Moses and Aaron that same day

and said to Moses, "We are unclean because of a dead body, but why should we be excluded from presenting the LORD's offering with the other Israelites at the appointed time?"

But the man who is ceremonially clean, is not on a journey, and still fails to observe the Passover, is to be cut off from his people, because he did not present the LORD's offering at its appointed time. That man will bear the consequences of his sin.

Whether the cloud lingered for two days, a month, or longer, the Israelites camped and did not set out as long as the cloud remained over the tabernacle; but when it was lifted, they would set out.

But if only one is sounded, then the leaders, the heads of the clans of Israel, are to gather before you.

But now our appetite is gone; there is nothing to see but this manna!"

but for a whole month-until it comes out of your nostrils and makes you nauseous-because you have rejected the LORD, who is among you, and have cried out before Him saying, 'Why did we ever leave Egypt?'"

But Moses replied, "Here I am among 600,000 men on foot, yet You say, 'I will give them meat, and they will eat for a month.'

Then the LORD came down in the cloud and spoke to him, and He took some of the Spirit that was on Moses and placed that Spirit on the seventy elders. As the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied-but they never did so again.

Two men, however, had remained in the camp-one named Eldad and the other Medad-and the Spirit rested on them. They were among those listed, but they had not gone out to the tent, and they prophesied in the camp.

But Moses replied, "Are you jealous on my account? I wish that all the LORD's people were prophets and that the LORD would place His Spirit on them!"

But while the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, the LORD's anger burned against the people, and the LORD struck them with a severe plague.
