Not only that, but we also continue to boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received our reconciliation.Romans 2:17; 3:29-30; Galatians 4:9;">[xr]

But thank God that, though you were once slaves of sin, you became obedient from your hearts to that form of teaching with which you were entrusted!2 Timothy 1:13;">[xr]

For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to deal with sin. He condemned sin in the fleshActs 13:39; Romans 3:20; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:13; Hebrews 7:18-19;">[xr]

That is why the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile toward God. For it refuses to submit to the authority of God's law because it is powerless to do so.1 Corinthians 2:14; James 4:4;">[xr]

Indeed, those who are under the control of the flesh cannot please God.

Now if we are children, we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if, in fact, we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.Acts 14:22; 26:18; Galatians 4:7; Philippians 1:29; 2 Timothy 2:11-12;">[xr]

For the creation is eagerly waiting for God to reveal his children,2 Peter 3:13; 1 John 3:2;">[xr]

What, then, can we say about all of this? If God is for us, who can be against us?Numbers 14:9; Psalm 118:6;">[xr]
