Where is the wise person? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? God has turned the wisdom of the world into nonsense, hasn't he?Job 1:12:17,20, 24; Isaiah 33:18; 44:25; Romans 1:22;">[xr]

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know God, God decided through the nonsense of our preaching to save those who believe.Matthew 11:25; Luke 10:21; Romans 1:20-21,28;">[xr]

But God chose what is nonsense in the world to make the wise feel ashamed. God chose what is weak in the world to make the strong feel ashamed.Psalm 8:2; Matthew 11:25; James 2:5;">[xr]

ButFor">[fn] God has revealed those things to us by his Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the deep things of God.Matthew 13:11; 16:17; John 14:26; 16:13; 1 John 2:27;">[xr]

Is there anyone who can understand his own thoughts except by his own inner spirit? In the same way, no one can know the thoughts of God except God's Spirit.Proverbs 20:27; 27:19; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 11:33-34;">[xr]

Now, we have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we can understand the things that were freely given to us by God.Romans 8:15;">[xr]
