Then Ephraim shall become like a mighty warrior, and their hearts shall be glad as with wine. Their children shall see it and be glad; their hearts shall rejoice in the Lord .

Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, "Great is the Lord beyond the border of Israel!"

Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

And Jesus said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a proof to them."

And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, "See that no one knows about it."

And Jesus answered them, "Go and tell John what you hear and see:

As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds concerning John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

What then did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, "Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you."

This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: "‘"You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive."

For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.'

But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.

For truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled?
