And the sons of Benjamin said, They are being smitten down before us, as at the first. But the sons of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them away from the city to the highways.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drank neither wine nor strong drink, but I poured out my soul before Yahweh.

But Hannah didn't go up; for she said to her husband, [I will not go up] until the lad is weaned; and then I will bring him, that he may appear before Yahweh, and abide there forever.

Yes, before they burnt the fat, the priest's attendant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have boiled flesh of you, but raw.
