And he who saw it testified, and his testimony is true; and he knows well that what he said is true, that you also may believe.

And the burial napkin which was bound around his head, was not with the linen cloths, but was wrapped up and put in a place by itself.

He said this, and then he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw our Lord.

If you forgive a man his sins, they shall be forgiven to him; and if you hold a man''s sins, they are held.

And the disciples said to him, We have seen our Lord. He said to them, Unless I see in his hands the places of the nails, and put my fingers in them, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

Many other miracles Jesus did in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book;

Even these are written, so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and when you believe you shall have life everlasting in his name.

AFTER these things, Jesus showed himself again to his disciples by the sea of Tiberias; and he appeared in this way:

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, That is our Lord. When Simon heard that it was our Lord, he took his cloak and girded it around his waist, because he was naked; and he jumped into the sea to come to Jesus.

This is the third time that Jesus appeared to his disciples, since he rose up from the dead.

This is the disciple who testified concerning all of these things, and who also wrote them; and we know that his testimony is true.

He said to them, It is not for you to know the time or times, which the Father has put under his own authority.

These all continued together in prayer with one accord, with the women, and Mary the Mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

He is the one who earned for himself a field with the price of sin; and falling headlong, he burst open in the midst and all his bowels gushed out.

For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no one dwell in it; and let his duty be taken by another man.

That he may receive the lot to the ministry and apostleship, from which Judas has been relieved to go his own way.

And as the sound took place, all the people gathered together, and they were confused because every man heard them speak in his own language.

And afterwards Simon Peter stood up together with the eleven disciples, and lifted up his voice and said to them, Men of Jewish race, and all that dwell at Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and harken to my words:

For he was a prophet, and he knew that God had sworn by an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up one to sit on his throne.
