In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: His generation who shall declare? For his life is taken from the earth.

And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight; and he arose and was baptized;

but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.

And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had kept his bed eight years; for he was palsied.

And he gave her his hand, and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.

And he, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your alms have gone up for a memorial before God.

And when the angel that spoke to him had departed, he called two of his household slaves, and a devout soldier of those that waited on him continually;

And they said, Captain Cornelius, a righteous man and one that fears God, and well reported of by all the nation of the Jews, was warned [of God] by a holy angel to send for you into his house, and to hear words from you.

And on the next day he entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his kinsmen and his near friends.

And when it came to pass that Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.

And Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

To him all the prophets bear witness, that through his name every one that believes on him shall receive remission of sins.

and he told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying, Send to Joppa, and fetch Simon, whose surname is Peter;

And the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send help to the brothers that dwelt in Judea:
