Then Jesus said to the crowds, "As soon as you see a cloud rising in the west, you say, 'A shower is coming,' and that is what happens.

There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are thrown out.

Look, your house is left to you desolate. And I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.'"

But one after another they all began to make excuses. The first one said, 'I have bought a field and I need to go see it. Please excuse me.'

Which of you, wishing to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost to see if he has the resources to complete it?

Nor will people say, 'Look, here it is,' or 'There it is.' For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst."

Then He said to the disciples, "The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

He was trying to see who Jesus was, but could not see over the crowd, because he was small in stature.

So he ran on ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see Him, since Jesus was about to pass that way.

"As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one will be toppled."

Jesus answered, "See to it that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, claiming, 'I am He,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them.

But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that her desolation is near.

At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.

So also, when you see these things taking place, know that the kingdom of God is near.

When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased. He had wanted to see Him for a long time, because he had heard about Him and was hoping to see Him perform a miracle.

Neither has Herod, for he sent Him back to us. As you can see, He has done nothing deserving of death.

Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had described. But Him they did not see."
