'Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear?' And do you not remember?

So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then He spit on the man's eyes and placed His hands on him. "Can you see anything?" He asked.

The man looked up and said, "I can see the people, but they look like trees walking around."

Once again Jesus placed His hands on the man's eyes, and when he opened them his sight was restored, and he could see everything clearly.

Then Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God arrive with power."

"What do you want Me to do for you?" Jesus asked. "Rabboni," said the blind man, "let me see again."

Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, He went to see if there was any fruit on it. But when He reached it, He found nothing on it except leaves, since it was not the season for figs.

"Do you see all these great buildings?" Jesus replied. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be toppled."

Jesus began by telling them, "See to it that no one deceives you.

So when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

So also, when you see these things taking place, know that He is near, right at the door.

Rise, let us go. See, My betrayer is approaching!"

"I am," said Jesus, "and you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming with the clouds of heaven."

Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe!" And even those who were crucified with Him berated Him.

And someone ran and filled a sponge with vinegar. He put it on a reed and offered it to Jesus to drink. "Wait!" he said. "Let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down."

But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here! See the place where they laid Him.

But go, tell His disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you.'"

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us."

The Holy Spirit had revealed to him that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
