For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.

Exodus 31:1-11">[xr] And Moses said to the children of Israel, "See, the LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

See! Its blood was not brought inside the holy place; [fn] indeed you should have eaten it in a holy place, as I commanded."

If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now--if I have found favor in Your sight--and do not let me see my wretchedness!"

And the LORD said to Moses, "Has the LORD's arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not."

and see what the land is like: whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, few or many;

they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.

Then Balak said to him, "Please come with me to another place from which you may see them; you shall see only the outer part of them, and shall not see them all; curse them for me from there."

Deuteronomy 31:1-8">[xr] Now the LORD said to Moses: "Go up into this Mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

Thus your fathers did when I sent them away from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.

"Surely none of the men who came up from Egypt, from twenty years old and above, shall see the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, because they have not wholly followed Me,

See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob--to give to them and their descendants after them.'

"Surely not one of these men of this evil generation shall see that good land of which I swore to give to your fathers,

except Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him and his children I am giving the land on which he walked, because he wholly followed the LORD.'

"And the LORD said to me, "See, I have begun to give Sihon and his land over to you. Begin to possess it, that you may inherit his land.'

I pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon.'
