Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall not be seen."

And he said, "Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been created in all the earth or in any nation. And all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord , for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.

the people of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face was shining. And Moses would put the veil over his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

Then Moses said to the people of Israel, "See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

If you will treat me like this, kill me at once, if I find favor in your sight, that I may not see my wretchedness."

And the Lord said to Moses, "Is the Lord 's hand shortened? Now you shall see whether my word will come true for you or not."

and see what the land is, and whether the people who dwell in it are strong or weak, whether they are few or many,

shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it.

Your fathers did this, when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.

‘Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land that I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, because they have not wholly followed me,

See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.'
