"He who informs against friends for a share of the spoil, The eyes of his children also will languish.

"Even young children despise me; I rise up and they speak against me.

"They send forth their little ones like the flock, And their children skip about.

"Behold, as wild donkeys in the wilderness They go forth seeking food in their activity, As bread for their children in the desert.

When the Almighty was yet with me, And my children were around me;

Both young men and virgins; Old men and children.

From men with Your hand, O Lord , From men of the world, whose portion is in this life, And whose belly You fill with Your treasure; They are satisfied with children, And leave their abundance to their babes.

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord .

How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor.

If I had said, "I will speak thus," Behold, I would have betrayed the generation of Your children.

We will not conceal them from their children, But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord , And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done.

For He established a testimony in Jacob And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they should teach them to their children,

That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, That they may arise and tell them to their children,

Assyria also has joined with them; They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.

You turn man back into dust And say, "Return, O children of men."

Let Your work appear to Your servants And Your majesty to their children.

"The children of Your servants will continue, And their descendants will be established before You."

Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,
