They are like children that sit in the marketplace, and call one to another; who say, We piped to you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not weep.

And wisdom is justified of all her children.

and he from inside shall answer and say, Don't trouble me: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I can't rise and give you.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those that ask him.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that kills the prophets, and stones those that are sent to her! how often I wanted to gather your children together, even as a hen [gathers] her own brood under her wings, and you did not want [to]!

If any man comes to me, and does not hate his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can't be my disciple.

But Jesus called them to him, saying, Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them: for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

And he said to them, Truly I say to you, There is no man that has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

and shall dash you to the ground, and your children inside you; and they shall not leave in you one stone on another; because you didn't know the time of your visitation.

and the third took her; and likewise the seven also left no children, and died.

But Jesus turning to them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, [even] to those that believe on his name:

They answered and said to him, Our father is Abraham. Jesus says to them, If you were Abraham's children, you would be doing the works of Abraham.

and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God that are scattered abroad.

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said to the Jews, Where I go, you can't come; so now I say to you.

Jesus therefore says to them, Children, have you anything to eat? They answered him, No.

For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are far off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call to him.

that God has fulfilled these things to us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus; as also it is written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this day I have begotten you.

And when it came to pass that we had accomplished the days, we departed and went on our journey; and they all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city: and kneeling down on the beach, we prayed, and bade each other farewell;

and they have been informed concerning you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs.
