Think about it, God didn't even spare the angels who'd sinned against him. He threw them in the branding fire, chained and bound to await their day of sentencing.

God got so fed up with our ancient ancestors that he destroyed the whole world with a flood. Only Noah and seven others were saved. Noah was a cowboy who urged righteous living and practiced what he preached.
2 Peter 2:9

God knows who is good among you and who is counterfeit. He will rescue his real cowboys from their trials, but he will hold the counterfeit in chains to await their day of sentencing.
2 Peter 2:11

Even angels, with all their might and power, do not condemn or make fun of anyone before God—not even the counterfeit cowboys. That's because the angels are smart and the counterfeits are not.
2 Peter 2:14

They eat you up with their adulterous eyes and their sinful desires are never satisfied or satiated. The weak among you fall into their devilish traps and snares. They are well-trained and practiced in greed—masters of the trade. Despite it all, they live under the curse of God.
2 Peter 2:17

These people are like dried up dirt tanks. They drift away like the clouds after a storm. They have a place in the forever-dark prepared for them by God.
2 Peter 3:2

Don't forget what the old cowboys of God told us, as well as the commands of Jesus himself given by his twelve cowboys.
2 Peter 3:3
[ Read Chapter | View Context | Multi-Translations | Study Tools ]
First off, there will come a day when people make fun of God in broad daylight and do nothing except worship their own lustful wants and needs. They'll laugh in your face for riding for Jesus
2 Peter 3:5

They've heard the truth, but chosen to ignore it. With a word, God created all the heavens and earth. The land was brought up out of the water,

and it was this same water that God used to destroy the land in the great flood.
2 Peter 3:7
[ Read Chapter | View Context | Multi-Translations | Study Tools ]
By the same word, God is now preserving the earth and heavens for the day they will all be destroyed, not by water again, but this time by fire. The current heaven and earth are waiting on the day when all godless people will be destroyed in the fire to come.
2 Peter 3:8

I think it's important for you to understand time isn't the same for us as it is for God. To him, a thousand years is like a day and a day is like a thousand years. One is the same as the other to him.
2 Peter 3:11

But I know I'm just explaining cattle to cowboys. Y'all already know all of this. Keep an eye on the horizon so you will not be lured away by lawless vagabonds and lustful temptresses. Stay close to God and stick to the narrow trail and you'll be safe.
