For God has deprived her of wisdom;he has not endowed her with understanding.

Rise up, Lord!Save me, my God!You strike all my enemies on the cheek;you break the teeth of the wicked.

Answer me when I call,God, who vindicates me.You freed me from affliction;be gracious to me and hear my prayer.

Pay attention to the sound of my cry,my King and my God,for I pray to you.

For you are not a God who delights in wickedness;evil cannot dwell with you.

Punish them, God;let them fall by their own schemes.Drive them out because of their many crimes,for they rebel against you.

Lord my God, I seek refuge in you;save me from all my pursuers and rescue me

Lord my God, if I have done this,if there is injustice on my hands,

Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,but establish the righteous.The one who examines the thoughts and emotionsis a righteous God.

My shield is with God,who saves the upright in heart.

God is a righteous judgeand a God who shows his wrath every day.

The wicked will return to Sheol—all the nations that forget God.

In all his scheming,the wicked person arrogantly thinks,“There’s no accountability,since there’s no God.”

He says to himself, “God has forgotten;he hides his face and will never see.”

Rise up, Lord God! Lift up your hand.Do not forget the oppressed.

Why has the wicked person despised God?He says to himself, “You will not demand an account.”

The fool says in his heart, “There’s no God.”They are corrupt; they do vile deeds.There is no one who does good.

The Lord looks down from heaven on the human raceto see if there is one who is wise,one who seeks God.
