You perform great wonders because you alone are God.

With all my heart I thank you. I praise you, Lord God.

But you, the Lord God, are kind and merciful. You don't easily get angry, and your love can always be trusted.

Zion, you are the city of God, and wonderful things are told about you.

God Most High will strengthen the city of Zion. Then everyone will say, "We were born here too."

You are Lord God All-Powerful! No one is as loving and faithful as you are.

He will say to me, ‘You are my Father and my God, as well as the mighty rock where I am safe.'

You are now angry, God, and you have turned your back on your chosen king.

(A prayer by Moses, the man of God.) Our Lord, in all generations you have been our home.

You have always been God— long before the birth of the mountains, even before you created the earth and the world.

Our Lord and our God, treat us with kindness and let all go well for us. Please let all go well!

Live under the protection of God Most High and stay in the shadow of God All-Powerful.

Then you will say to the Lord , "You are my fortress, my place of safety; you are my God, and I trust you."

God will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.

They will take root in your house, Lord God, and they will do well.

And they will say about you, "The Lord always does right! God is our mighty rock."

Lord God, you punish the guilty. Show what you are like and punish them now.

Then they say, "The Lord God of Jacob doesn't see or know."

God gave us ears and eyes! Can't he hear and see?
