And they sat before him, the first-born according to his birthright, and the youngest according to his youth; and the men looked at one another and marveled.

And the servants took portions to them from before Joseph; but Benjamins portion was five times as much as any of theirs. And they drank and were merry with him.

AND he commanded the steward of his house, saying, Fill the mens sacks with wheat, as much as they can carry, and put every mans money in his sacks mouth.

And when they were gone out of the city, but not yet far off, Joseph said to the steward, Arise, pursue the men; and when you overtake them, say to them, Why have you returned evil for good?

Then they speedily took down every man his sack to the ground, and opened every man his sack.

And they searched, beginning with the eldest and ending with the youngest; and the cup was found in Benjamins sack.

And they tore their clothes, and loaded every man his ass, and returned to the town.

And Judah and his brothers came to Josephs house; for he was still there; and they fell before him on the ground.

And Joseph said to his brothers, I am Joseph your brother; is my father still alive? But his brothers could not answer him because they were afraid at his presence.

And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near to me; and they came near. And he said to them, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold to the Egyptians.

So he sent his brothers away, and they departed; and he said to them, Quarrel not on the journey.

And they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to their father Jacob.

And they told him, saying, Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. But Jacob disregarded their story, for he did not believe them.

And they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them; and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, their father Jacob was content.

And they took their cattle and their goods which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him;

And he sent Judah before him to Joseph to present himself before him in Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

And the men are shepherds, for they are cattle raisers; and they have brought their flocks and their herds and all that they have.

THEN Joseph came and informed Pharaoh, and said to him, My father and my brothers and their flocks and their herds and all that they have, are come from the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are now settled in the land of Goshen.

And Pharaoh said to Josephs brothers, What is your occupation? And they said to Pharaoh, Your servants are shepherds, both we and also our fathers, from our youth.

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was to be found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan for the grain which they bought; and Joseph brought the money into Pharaohs house.
