Blessed are the people of whom this is so; blessed are the people whose God is the LORD.

Hallelujah! How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and lovely to praise Him!

Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make music on the harp to our God,

Exalt the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Zion!

May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hands,

Hallelujah! Praise God in His sanctuary. Praise Him in His mighty heavens.

then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.

who abandons the partner of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God.

Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and man.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out.

The words of Agur son of Jakeh-the oracle that this man declard to Ithiel: "I am weary, O God, and worn out.

Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

Otherwise, I may have too much and deny You, saying, "Who is the LORD?" Or I may become poor and steal, profaning the name of my God.

And I set my mind to seek and explore by wisdom all that is done under heaven. What a heavy burden God has laid on the sons of men, to keep them occupied!

Nothing is better for man than to eat and drink and enjoy his work. I have also seen that this is from the hand of God.

To the man who is pleasing in His sight, He gives wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner He assigns the task of gathering and accumulating that which he will hand over to one who pleases God. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.
