When the Israelites saw the great power with which the Lord had defeated the Egyptians, they stood in awe of the Lord ; and they had faith in the Lord and in his servant Moses.

But the Lord reprimanded Moses and Aaron. He said, "Because you did not have enough faith to acknowledge my holy power before the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land that I promised to give them."

"The Mighty One is God! He is the Lord ! The Mighty One is God! He is the Lord ! He knows why we did this, and we want you to know too! If we rebelled and did not keep faith with the Lord , do not let us live any longer!

Because they did not have faith, he did not perform many miracles there.

At once Jesus reached out and grabbed hold of him and said, "What little faith you have! Why did you doubt?"

So Jesus answered her, "You are a woman of great faith! What you want will be done for you." And at that very moment her daughter was healed.

Jesus knew what they were saying, so he asked them, "Why are you discussing among yourselves about not having any bread? What little faith you have!
