For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Then Saul's son Jonathan came to David in Horesh and encouraged him in his faith in God,

the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you do not stand firm in your faith, then you will not stand at all.

Look, his ego is inflated; he is without integrity. But the righteous one will live by his faith.

If that's how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won't He do much more for you—you of little faith?

Hearing this, Jesus was amazed and said to those following Him, "I assure you: I have not found anyone in Israel with so great a faith!

But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, you of little faith?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.

Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, "Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven."

But Jesus turned and saw her. "Have courage, daughter," He said. "Your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that moment.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, "Let it be done for you according to your faith!"

Immediately Jesus reached out His hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"

Then Jesus replied to her, "Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want." And from that moment her daughter was cured.

Aware of this, Jesus said, "You of little faith! Why are you discussing among yourselves that you do not have bread?

"Because of your little faith," He told them. "For I assure you: If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Jesus answered them, "I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will be done.

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You pay a tenth of mint, dill, and cumin, yet you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy, and faith. These things should have been done without neglecting the others.

Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."

Then He said to them, "Why are you fearful? Do you still have no faith?"

"Daughter," He said to her, "your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be free from your affliction."

"Go your way," Jesus told him. "Your faith has healed you." Immediately he could see and began to follow Him on the road.
