To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
Psalms 25:1
To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.
Psalms 25:2
O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies laugh me to scorn.
Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
Psalms 25:3
For none of them that wait on thee shall in any wise be ashamed: let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.
Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.
Psalms 25:4
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; and teach me thy paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
Psalms 25:5
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art God my Saviour: and I have waited on thee all the day.
Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old.
Psalms 25:6
Remember thy compassions, O Lord, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness' sake, O LORD.
Psalms 25:7
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my sins of ignorance: remember me according to thy mercy, for thy goodness sake, O Lord.
Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way.
Psalms 25:8
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.
The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.
Psalms 25:9
The meek will he guide in judgment: the meek will he teach his ways.
All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Psalms 25:10
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to them that seek his covenant and his testimonies.
For Your name's sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Psalms 25:11
For thy names sake, O Lord, do thou also be merciful to my sin; for it is great.
Who is the man that fears the Lord?Him shall He [fn] teach in the way He [fn] chooses.
Psalms 25:12
Who is the man that fears the Lord? he shall instruct him in the way which he has chosen.
He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.
Psalms 25:13
His soul shall dwell in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.
Psalms 25:14
The Lord is the strength of them that fear him; and his covenant is to manifest truth to them.
My eyes are ever toward the LORD, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.
Psalms 25:15
Mine eyes are continually to the Lord; for he shall draw my feet out of the snare.
Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted.
Psalms 25:16
Look upon me, and have mercy upon me; for I am an only child and poor.
The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses!
Psalms 25:17
The afflictions of my heart have been multiplied; deliver me from my distresses.
Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins.
Psalms 25:18
Look upon mine affliction and my trouble; and forgive all my sins.
Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.
Psalms 25:19
Look upon mine enemies; for they have been multiplied; and they have hated me with unjust hatred.
Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
Psalms 25:20
Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I have hoped in thee.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.
Psalms 25:21
The harmless and upright joined themselves to me: for I waited for thee, O Lord.
Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!
Psalms 25:22
Deliver Israel, O God, out of all his afflictions.
