Hosea 13:3 — dew. Hebrew. t al = the night mist. See note on "Zion", Psalms 133:3 . the = a. floor = threshingfloor. chimney = window, or opening. No word for chimney in Hebrew

Hosea 2:9 — will I return. In judgment. take away = take back. Compare Hosea 2:3 . My wine, &c. They were all His, and from Him. recover = rescue (Genesis 31:16 ).

Zechariah 14:2 — I will gather , &c. Referring to the yet future and final siege of Jerusalem. See App-53 . battle = war. Not the same word as in Zechariah 14:3 ,

Zechariah 8:1 — the LORD of hosts. See note on Zechariah 1:3 . to me . Some codices, with three early printed editions, Aramaean, and Syriac, read these words in the text.

Matthew 11:13 — all the prophets. See Acts 3:21 . the law. See note on Matthew 5:17 . until John. And all would have been fulfilled then had the nation repented.
